Children's Book Awards

We are part of the testing group for Children's National Book awards. This is a new venture for us and we have now allocated our second set of lovely books. Our children have been reading and reviewing all these new lovely books. We look forward to sharing some reviews and recommendations in the next few weeks!

Great excitement as our Year 5 and 6 Reading Champions got their new books for reviewing and voting on for National Children's Book Awards!

Reading Enrichment

We are passionate about developing a love of reading in our children at Locking!

We have regular afterschool workshops where we have immersive opportunities to explore an author, particular book or even a collection of books around a theme.
