Fund Raising!

18th November 2016
Locking Primary School are proud to support Children in Need. This year we had a visit from Pudsey Bear and children were able to have their picture taken with him. For a £1 donation they could have their picture taken and developed. We also had a non-school uniform day on the Friday.

We are pleased to say we raised £456.24.
Remembrance Day is an important time of year at Locking Primary School, especially since we are the old RAF school and have close connections to the RAF Camp. To show our support, we sold poppies, wrist bands, badges and stickers throughout the week leading up to Remembrance Sunday. We are proud to say we raised £165.33 for the Poppy Appeal.

On the 11.11.2016, children who attend Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Scouts and Beavers were invited to wear their uniform. This gave these children an opportunity to talk about these fantastic organisations and hopefully more children were tempted to go along and see what it's all about.
